UCU Honors Retired Board Member

(ORONO) - On September 22, 2006, Lawrence Stanchfield, Jr., UCU Board Chairperson, presented Melvin McClure with a plaque for his dedication to University Credit Union during his 22 years as a Board of Director. In addition, UCU made a donation of $10,000 to The Melvin T. McClure Scholarship. The McClure Scholarship provides funding for accounting students enrolled in the College of Business Administration at the University of Maine. Mel spent many years as an Accounting Professor at the University of Maine.
